Review: Lust Have It! March Beauty Box

Hey Guys

My March Lust Have It! box has only just arrived and I quite liked this month so I wanted to share my thoughts with you. In case you weren't aware Lust Have It! is a company that provides numerous boxes for men and women (women mainly though), I have an annual subscription (that is ending soon) for the beauty box, which retails for $19.95 AU a month. Onto the products contained in this months box, which was more just some plastic bubble wrap as they are redoing the boxes for April I believe.

KLARA KISS PROOF LIPS
RRP $29, 8ml

This is a deluxe size sample which is very cute! I received shade 04 which is a lovely bright almost neon pink. I do really look forward to using this, it will be good for a bright lip on a night out, perfect with a smokey eye! The small sample size is adorable and great for purses as well. I just hope the formula is good.

BLOOM SECRET WEAPON CONCEALER KIT
RRP $20, 5.5gr

This is a full sized product that I am super happy they included, it was going to either be this or an eyeliner of which I already have heaps. This contains 6 different concealers in one palette, there is a fair, light, medium, green, yellow and illuminiser shade. This palette is great for fair-medium skins but not so much if you are out of that shade range. I think I will get a lot of use out of this.

ORLY NAIL LACQUER SELECTION
RRP $18.95, 18ml

This is only 5.3ml of product so I would class this as a mini or deluxe sample, so recieved this in a purple shimmery shade called Grape Glitz which is a perfect name. I haven't tried Orly before so I am looking forward to trying this.

AVEDA INTENSIVE HYDRATING MASQUE
RRP $79.95, 150ml

This mask isn't really designed for my skin type, hydrating products are always a worry for my oily skin. However I can get dry patches every so often so I will save this for one of those times. Aveda is a really good brand so I have fairly high expectations for this, especially considering the price for the full size.

CHAPSTICK STRAWBERRY LIPBALM SPF15
RRP $4.69, 4.2gr

I am always happy to receive another lipbalm, especially one that smells like strawberries.

RECOVERLYTE TROPICAL POWDER
RRP $11.95, 10 sachets

This pretty much just seems like berrocca, something you use in the morning that is full of vitamins and all the good things after a rough night. I don't go out for a big night very often but I will keep this for when I decide to!

That is everything from my beauty box this month, lots of cosmetics which has been missing from previous boxes lately. Also included which was not pictured or mentioned was a $20 off voucher for Runway Dream, designer fashion hire, something I will never use but may be good for some.

Are you subscribed to any beauty boxes?

Rimmel Apocolips

I have another Rimmel Apocolips shade to share with you today. I already own 2 apocolips in shades 600 Nude Eclipse and 501 Stellar, I now have 101 Celestial to add to my collection.

Celestial is a dusty pink colour, and is an absolute beauty. I love this colour, it is bright but not so bright that it requires simple makeup, I think this colour can be pulled off with almost any makeup combination. A smokey eye? Check! Bright cheeks? Check! And all the other different ways you can think of.

The formula is a lip lacquer which is a gloss of a lipgloss but with the colour and vibrancy of a lipstick. These are quite long lasting, the brighter colours tend to stain so they can last 4-5 hours, this colour however is more around 3-4 hours.

I managed to grab this in a sale for only $5 AU but these retail for $15.95 AU.

Do you own any of the Rimmel Apcolips?

P.S My local Kmart store has recently had a massive sale in beauty products, this was so that they could make way for new stock and new brands. There is now E.L.F products in Kmart stores! There was also an unknown brand called simply Make Up (I will investigate more on this soon) and another called Lips and Tips (lipstick and nail polish maybe?) but those had no products on the shelves yet.

New on My Lips

Hey Guys

I just want to say that it is so great to see so many people following me on Bloglovin! Well today I want to share with you three new items that I have been enjoying on my lips, I must admit I am late to the party with these so you have probably already read many reviews, and possibly even have these in your own stash so apologies to anyone who is sick of these.

Nivea Lip Butter & 2  Rimmel Apocalips

Nivea Lip Butter

I only purchased this Nivea Lip Butter in Vanilla & Macadamia recently at Kmart while picking up some more cotton balls, I had been meaning to purchase this for a really long time but always forget about it, I saw that Nivea products were on sale and could not resist. I am so glad that I didn't, this smells delicious and I cannot get enough of it. This goes on clear but gives the lips a little bit of shine and a whole lot of moisture. Nivea says this is how the product works:

NIVEA Lip Butter Vanilla & Macadamia is formulated with NIVEA's own Hydra IQ deep moisture technology which helps to restore and maintain soft and healthy lips and shea butter which protects the sensitive lip skin against the elements. With mild almond oil, NIVEA Lip Butters help to condition and calm even very dry lips for long-lasting moisturisation.

Nivea Lip Butter Tin

I really love this, it leaves my lips feeling soft and hydrated and not at all heavy or greasy with product. The only con is that it is not all that hygienic being in a tin versus a stick, however I love the look of the tin a lot more to be honest, and this is still great to pop in my handbag for reapplying. This retails for $5.96 AUD but can often be found on special, I will definitely consider repurchasing when I am done getting through this huge tin!

Rimmel Apocalips

I am so late to the party with this it is almost not worth reviewing, but I love these so why not. I purchased the Rimmel Apocalips in Big W during a 40% off sale, in shade 600 Nude Eclipse and shade 501 Stellar. The Apocalips are considered a lip lacquer rather than a lipstick or a lipgloss, if you have tried these then you will understand. They are wet like a lipgloss but have the pigmentation and vibrancy of a lipstick. They can be built up from a sheer shade to a bold full colour, these come with a doe foot applicator in built, a lip brush may be necessary to touch up the edges though (if you are as heavy handed as me that is).

Swatches: Top - Stellar, Bottom - Nude Eclipse

Stellar is a bright and beautiful pinky red, this a LOOK AT ME colour. I love this for a bright pop of colour in summer, particularly with a monochrome outfit (which is most of my wardrobe).
Nude Eclipse as the name implies is a nude beige colour. I prefer this to be worn sheer rather than the full bold colour as it does kind of clash with my skin tone when opaque.

I have found these to have quiet a long staying power, even while eating and drinking. They are a satin finish which dries down to an almost matte finish. Only problem I had with these occurred when I had not prepped my lips (which I do with a lip scrub and then moisturising balm), so try to make sure your lips are moisturised before applying. This retails for $15.95 AUD but you can often find this on sale for cheaper ($11.16 currently on offer at Priceline, making it quite a good buy).

It is getting very close to Christmas now, anybody else super excited and counting down the days?
